Whatcha wanna know?
-?---?---?---?---?---?---?---?- Why do I have a Journal and a Blog and what's the difference? I know, I'm crazy and I make simple things hard. For one, my journal can be about anything and everything I feel like saying where as my blog is more of what's happening in my life and more personal. Why not just put it in one place? Um, didn't I just explain this?? I make simple things hard! I'm a weird I know. Leave the strange girl be people, leave the strange girl be!

Green Angel
October 23, 2007
I'm currently reading Green Angel by Alice Hoffman and I'm up to page 68 and so far this book is really good. Here's the summary:
When her family is lost in a terrible disaster, 15-yr-old Green is haunted by loss and by the past. Struggling to survive physically and emotionally in a place where nothing seems to grow and ashes are everywhere, Green retreats into the ruined realm of her garden. But in destroying her feelings, she also begins to destroy herself, erasing the girl she'd once been as she inks ravens into her skin. It is only through a series of mysterious encounters — with a ghostly white dog and a mute boy — that Green relearns the lessons of love and begins to heal as she tells her own story.
The cover is beautiful and her transformation is shocking! The cover has the before and after of how she looks like and I was showing it to all of my friends and they couldn't believe it was the same person!
